Good news, PC modders. The people responsible for iCEnhancer confirmed yesterday that it will be coming to GTA V after all, despite earlier rumors to the contrary. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, iCEnhancer is a mod that pushes game graphics beyond their default limitations, giving the game a photorealistic appearance. iCEnhancer was one of the most popular mods for GTA IV, and it really made that game look lifelike. It will be interesting to see what it can do with GTA V PC, as the remastered version of the game already looks pretty spectacular.
The iCEnhancer creators believe the PC version might only need “artistic changes,” such as “dark, unsaturated, shiny cars preset and oversaturated, matte cars presets, etc.”
Have you used iCEnhancer with GTA IV, and do you intend to use it with GTA V? How realistic do you think GTA V will look with this mod applied? Let us know in the comments below.
