Just when we saw enough rumors to make it seem pretty likely GTA V would release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this November, one retailer released the apology pictured above. Australian retailer Big W advertised a November release for the game, but now claims it was a mistake, as it has been delayed until Spring 2015.
What makes it even stranger is the specific mention of a spring release. Big W is Australian, so Spring 2015 means it wouldn’t release until September-November of next year. We could understand if it was delayed until the early months of 2015, but how could it possibly be delayed for a full year from now? Does this mean it’s delayed in Australia, or is the retailer just mistaken? (Perhaps someone wrote November 2015 by mistake, and this is the result of a typo.)
A few days ago, we discovered that Newegg listed a November 18 release, but all its listings have since reverted to the December 31 placeholder date. When do you think GTA V for PS4/X1/PC will become available?
