It is possible for you to bring a car from your single player game into GTA Online even after the latest update – you just can’t do it with DLC cars or with cars labeled as “too hot.”
Follow the steps below to bring any other car into GTA Online:
- First, drive the car to any Los Santos Customs location.
- Save your game.
- Drive it into Los Santos Customs.
- Pause the game and choose to enter an Invite Only Session of GTA Online.
- From there, pause again and choose to host a Job.
- Pick a race.
- Complete the race.
- Rate the race.
- Quit out of the “Vote on the next Job” screen, which should make you spawn in Los Santos Customs in the car you drove there, even though you’re still online.
- Either sell the car or take it to your garage.
- Switch back to single player to repeat the process if you would like to bring more cars into GTA Online.
If it isn’t working for you, there are a few things you can try… Make sure you don’t have any of your GTA Online vehicles outside of your garage, because sometimes you’ll spawn into them instead. Also, adjust your spawn location settings if you continue to have trouble. After all that if you still continue to spawn in the wrong spawn, reload your save and try again.
Switch targets in Buzzard
We’ve also got one final tip for you – when flying a Buzzard helicopter and using rockets against multiple targets, you can tap L1/LB and R1/RB (PS3/Xbox 360) to switch the target you’re locked onto.
If you don’t want to lock on to your target, aim with the miniguns and switch to the rockets just before you fire.
Thanks to DutchAThon for sending in the vehicle glitch and TheDoob for posting the Buzzard tip.
Today we have a couple of handy hints for GTA Online for you. The first lets you earn unlimited RP without doing anything (other than dying) in the Crooked Cop mission. The second will enable you to obtain a Rat Loader vehicle with a bed on the back. Enjoy!
Earn Unlimited RP during Crooked Cop
Follow the instructions below to earn unlimited RP during the “Crooked Cop” mission. Note that you’ll need a second player to help you!
- First, go to “Jobs,” and then to “Versus,” and select the “Crooked Cop” mission.
- When the mission begins, make your way to the army base.
- Get a car and drive into the army base.
- Wait for the tanks to arrive to attack you, and then let them kill you.
- You will respawn within the army base and earn 400 RP. Your wanted level will reach 4 stars, so the tanks will seek you out and kill you again.
- Then simply let this process repeat over and over for as long as you want!
Rat Loader without a Bed
If you want to create a Rat Loader without the bed then follow the directions below…
- Go to Los Santos Customs with your Rat Loader.
- Once there, choose “Truck Beds.”
- You can buy any bed you want, as long as it is not the stock option.
- Hold down RT if you are playing on the Xbox 360 and R2 if you are playing on the PS3 and scroll.
- Stop scrolling and keep trying to land on the “Stock Bed” choice without the bed actually being visible (if you don’t simply hold the relevant button and scroll again until you get it).
- When you do, select that option and you will now have a Rat Loader without a bed.
We promised we’d let you know when GTA Online was back up online so here we are – it’s back! And this time Rockstar has a message too: it’s going to be taking aim at GTA Online cheaters.
As a result of today’s maintenance, all counterfeit (as Rockstar call it) or exploited/glitched (as we call it) GTA$ has apparently been removed from the game (whether this is in fact the case we have some more info on below…). This must have been quite a technical feat for Rockstar to achieve, so kudos on that. Rockstar also confirmed that if you purchased an item (like an apartment or vehicle) with some glitched GTA$ then you will get to keep that item – they are only removing the bad GTA$ from the game…
However, if you were one of the people who was actively glitching, exploiting or cheating (as opposed to simply being the innocent recipient of some GTA$) then Rockstar has said it will punish you at its discretion. This could mean putting you in a specific GTA Online cheater’s pool, or outright banning you from the GTA Online game.
In terms of how effect this GTA$ sweep as been so far, we’ve already received reports that some people have been putting GTA$99 million bounties on one another, so there is clearly some countereit GTA$ still lying around, or new glitches/exploits/cheats have already been found.
If you’ve been affected by the recent patches or the maintenance in any way then please let us know in the comments section below – we’d love to hear from you.
GTA Online is now back online with Rockstar declaring it is “taking aim at GTA Online cheaters”.
The maker of GTA V has said in a blog post that they are making it a priority to ensure that the glitches and exploits of the past (cheats) that some players have been using will no longer function, and punishing those that somehow do manage to get their hands on “counterfeit GTA$”.
Rockstar also confirmed many a cheater’s fears today that it has removed all counterfeit GTA$ from the GTA Online economy, but that any items purchased with illegal GTA$ will be retained (like if someone sent you some glitched GTA$ and you bought an apartment, you’ll keep the apartment). Rockstar was also keen to point out that if you innocently received GTA$ as a result of exploits then you will not be punished, you will lose the money only.
If you were one of the glitchers/exploiters/cheaters however then Rockstar has said that it will punish you at its discretion (which we think means if they can prove you definitely did something naughty). Potential outcomes from this include being sent to specific Cheater’s Pools and being banned from GTA Online altogether.
As for whether the measures Rockstar has put in place are effective, well we’re already hearing reports of multi-million GTA$ bounties being put on players after the maintenance was carried out… If you’ve lost some GTA$ or seen glitching since the maintenance, then let us know in the comments below!
PS: The maximum cap for bounties is GTA$9,000, while the maximum amount that you can transfer to another player, legitimately, is GTA$20,000.
Here at GTA 5 Cheats we’ve been receiving more and more reports of people unhappy with the large amount of hacking currently occurring in GTA Online. We guess that Rockstar Games is getting the message too with it recently making the following comment on the latest post to its official blog.
In regards to reports of hacking and cheating in Grand Theft Auto Online, we are working on a fix that will remove any GTA$ gained through these blatant exploits, as well as prevent this from happening in the future. We’ll also be taking appropriate measures very soon to punish anyone that we’ve discovered manipulating GTA Online in this manner (as we’ve stated previously, players who have received large sums of GTA$ but not engaged in any game manipulating through exploits can rest assured knowing they have nothing to fear). If you have been gifted a large sum of money or collected a large bounty, the money you’ve received will be removed once our upcoming fix is in place.
Furthermore, if you encounter someone that is taking advantage of exploits in your GTA Online session, you can alert us directly by using the in-game reporting functionality. In the Pause menu, under the Online tab, select Players and scroll to the offending player. From there, select Report and choose Exploits from the violation options. We appreciate the community’s support and understanding as we work to address these issues and apologize for all inconvenience caused.
As stated, they are working on a fix that will remove from the GTA Online economy, completely, any and all GTA$ that has been gained using nefarious means. This means if you used certain exploits yourself, or were gifted a large amount of cash, then you can expect to lose it. Rockstar also says that it will be punishing those who used exploits only, and NOT anyone who simply received a gift.
This is obviously a big task for Rockstar and it has been clearly struggling to stay on top of all the exploits that are released (every new patch seems to cover up and old one while a new one is also found). How long this new initiative might take to implement is unknown but GTA 5 Cheats will definitely keep you updated.
We recently posted that the new GTA V 1.04 patch would introduce the concept of cheater pools to Grand Theft Auto V. What this means is that instead of being banned for certain glitching/exploits in GTA Online, you would instead be placed in a “cheater’s pool” and could only play with other players who have also been classed as “cheats” by Rockstar (exactly what constitutes a “cheat” in GTA Online is not fully known just yet). Whether it also means that people won’t be banned from GTA Online is not yet known – there might be some pre-determined level of hacking that is required before Rockstar will simply ban you as opposed to putting you in the cheater’s pool.
Well a new video has surfaced on YouTube and it sheds some light on the topic. You can check it out for yourself below, but from the video we’ve learned the following about GTA 5 cheater’s pools:
- You can only play with others who are also in the cheater’s pool.
- You can’t join other “normal” gaming sessions.
- You’ll be classed as a bad sport (in addition to a cheater).
- You will lose all your money.
- You will keep your rank/level, your vehicles and your garage and apartments.
- The video creator also talks about a four month wait to get out of the pool. Whether this is correct/standard has not been confirmed though.
[youtube id="DQQ22MQe_kY" width="600" height="350"]
We don’t have any first hand experience of the cheater’s pool here at GTA 5 Cheats and in fact the number of players affected by it appears to be extremely limited at this stage, hence some of the questions/issues above cannot be answered fully just yet. We have however heard reports that if your PSN or Xbox Live ID is linked to your Rockstar Social Club account, then you are more likely to be spotted by and class as a cheater by Rockstar. This has not been confirmed though.
If you or someone you know has been classed as a cheater and placed in the pool in GTA Online then we’d love to hear from you!
We predicted it here over 6 months ago – Rockstar appears to have included a new “cheaters pool” for Grand Theft Auto Online in the soon to be released patch 1.04.
Exactly what sort of actions will get you into the cheaters pool are yet to be determined, but it looks like persistent glitching will get you placed into a special lobby for cheaters only for a period of one month. We also think it’s highly likely that more serious stuff like hacking/modding will get you either outright banned or placed in the cheaters pool for life.
More information is unfortunately not yet available as patch 1.04 has not been officially released, however it is expected to arrive some time this week. We’ll be among the first to bring you the details when that happens.
Also, we want to make it clear that this in no way relates to the cheat codes we have listed for the single player/story mode part of the game. You are free to cheat there without fear of anything bad happening (expect your ability to earn Achievements/Trophies being disabled for that gaming session).
The final cheat codes for GTA 5 have been found! We now have all the cheat codes for Grand Theft Auto V. You can find them for Xbox 360 here and for Playstation 3 here.

Update: all the cheat codes have now been discovered. Check them out for Xbox 360 and PS3!
We’re getting dozens of emails and comments each day asking for updates on finding the remaining cheat codes for Grand Theft Auto V. As we posted in this article, the cheats that we’re pretty sure are in the game, but simply haven’t been figured out yet, are as follows:
- All Weapons
- Health & Armor
- Super Jump (Update: this has been discovered)
These are in addition to the 100% confirmed and working cheats we have already found for each of the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
We know that the wait is frustrating, however these things can take time. There is literally thousands upon thousands of different button combinations that could work and to make things that little bit harder, there is no discernible pattern in the cheat codes that have been found to work so far.
And yes of course we (along with everyone else) realize that a lot of the cheats discovered so far are based on button combos from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. All cheats from all previous GTA games have been tried and the list of working cheat codes that we have as of today is partially as a result of that.
Apart from pure luck, or by plugging in cheats from previous GTA games, there are other ways that the remaining cheat codes might be discovered. These include:
- The codes being referenced within the game (or some official app) somehow or some place not yet discovered/realized
- Someone getting tricky with an automated/brute force method (most likely by hooking their game controller up to a PC)
- Rockstar leaking the cheats themselves (although this is pretty unlikely!)
The good news is that we, along with hundreds of other GTA players, are in-game testing out cheat combinations to see if we get any hits. Hopefully we’ll be able to find all the cheats within a short amount of time, but remember that codes for GTA: San Andreas were still being discovered months after it was released!
So sit tight, check back here for updates, and most importantly enjoy playing GTA V in the meantime!
Excuse us, sorry to interrupt now that Grand Theft Auto V has been officially released worldwide, but we just wanted to give our review of the game and also take care of some other things…
Achievements and Trophies
We’ve updated the Achievements and Trophies page to include all of the single player, GTA Online and secret Achievements and Trophies you can earn, each with their official icon and the relevant number of GamerScore points/type of PS trophy that you’ll receive.
This means that you Achievement and Trophy junkies can get started – although you will need to wait until at least October 1 when GTA Online is activated.
Cheats and Easter Eggs
We’ve also been adding to our respective pages for Xbox 360 and PS3 cheats for GTA V. The number of cheats is now officially up to 23 and we’re still looking for more (there’s at least eight to go). You’ll also find some neat Easter Eggs and other hints and tips about half-way down each page.
Hints and Tips
We’ve created a brand new GTA V Hints and Tips page. Check it out to find various tactics and other things that will help you progress in the game but don’t require the use of cheat codes.
That’s all for now. Back to Los Santos…
