GTA V PC pre-orders have included bonus GTA$ since pre-orders first became available, but now you can get even more. Originally, pre-ordering GTA V would reward you with a bonus $500,000 for the single-player mode and a bonus $500,000 for GTA Online. When the game was delayed to April, however, Rockstar increased the amount. While you’ll still receive $500,000 for GTA V, the GTA Online pre-order bonus has been upped to $700,000.
An additional cash bonus is available to players who pre-order the digital download from the Rockstar Warehouse. Back when the game was set to release on March 24, you could get bonus cash and a free game if you pre-ordered from the Warehouse before February 1.
The free game offer remains expired, but the cash bonus is back: if you pre-order the PC version of GTA V from the Rockstar Warehouse before March 31, you’ll receive an additional $300,000 for GTA Online.
To recap, this means that Rockstar Warehouse pre-orders of the GTA V PC digital download made before March 31 will come with $500,000 for single-player and $1,000,000 for GTA Online, not a bad incentive. Do you intend to pre-order?
Tomorrow is February 1, and that means this is your last chance to pre-order GTA V PC with one of the bonus promotion deals. First, if you pre-order the game straight from the Rockstar Warehouse, you get a bonus $300,000 for GTA Online in addition to the regular pre-order bonuses, as well as your choice of a free game download from the 11 great options available.
Second, if you pre-order from Green Man Gaming or Steam, you’ll receive the bonus $300,000 for GTA Online and a Steam copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
These bonus pre-order offers expire tomorrow, so act fast if you want to take advantage of them. If you don’t care about the bonuses and want to buy the PC version of GTA V from another retailer, consider the following other options:
All GTA V pre-orders, no matter when you make your order, include $500,000 for GTA Online as well as $500,000 for the single-player mode. GTA V will be released for the PC on March 24. Have you pre-ordered?
As you probably know by now, the PC version of GTA V has been delayed to March 24. Perhaps to soften the blow to fans who’d been planning to play GTA V on their PCs in just over a week, Rockstar has revealed new pre-order bonuses if you buy GTA V for PC through the Rockstar Warehouse.
In addition to the $500,000 of GTA V money and $500,000 of GTA Online money that all new-gen pre-orders received, you’ll get two more bonuses if you pre-order from Rockstar before February 1: an additional $300,000 for GTA Online and a free game. You’ll get the PC download code for your chosen game immediately, but to prevent players from downloading their free game and then cancelling their order, you’ll be charged a 15% non-refundable deposit at checkout.
You can choose one of the following:
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Grand Theft Auto IV
- Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
- Max Payne 2
- Max Payne 3
- L.A. Noire
- Bully: Scholarship Edition
- Midnight Club II
If you intend to play GTA V on PC and want to play one of these other Rockstar games, you should look into this offer. While the non-refundable deposit may rub some players the wrong way, the immediate download code for the bonus game will give you something to do while you wait for March 24.
Is GTA V worth pre-ordering? These days, many players don’t feel they should pre-order anything at all, especially when a game is delayed. Thanks to the following Youtube clip however, we’ve got some PS4 versus PC comparison shots that may help you decide.
What do you think? Are you going to pre-order the PC version of GTA V, either from the Rockstar Warehouse or another seller?
If you still haven’t pre-ordered GTA 5 and own a Xbox 360, here’s your chance to score a pretty sweet deal (and the Atomic Blimp pre-order bonus vehicle of course).
If you order right now via the Microsoft Store you’ll also get yourself a total of 1,600 MS Points. With Microsoft recently starting to convert everyone’s points into local currency, this is effectively the same as receiving a $20 credit for the Xbox Live Marketplace – definitely nothing to sneeze at when the game is only costing you $59.99.
Check the deal out here and remember – there will definitely be some DLC for GTA V eventually. It will be nice to have some points/Xbox Live credit ready and waiting for when it drops.
Two questions: Have you pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto V yet and do you like the keychain below? If you answered no then yes, keep reading…
“Exclusive pre-order offers” are pretty common these days, especially for big games like GTA 5, and depending where you shop you can pick up different loot with your selected title. While everyone who pre-orders GTA V will get the chance to pilot the Atomic Blimp in the game, different outlets are running different “side bonus” deals. Check out our list here.
But back to the new Walmart offer, pre-order with them today and you’ll get the GTA V keychain, which we think is actually one of the more practical bonuses you’re likely to receive anywhere. Keychains get used every day and this one in particular looks very cool (it’s GTA – how can it not!?).
Anyway, head over to Walmart and reserve your copy of GTA 5 today to also pick up the keychain – Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 version.
You can pre-order Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox 360 now, directly from the Microsoft Store, and receive 1,600 Microsoft Points as a bonus – something that would usually cost $20. In effect, at least for Xbox 360 gamers, this brings the price of GTA 5 down to a paltry $39.99.
In order to take advantage of the offer, you need to pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store. Note that the offer is only open “while stocks last” and that it is only available for pre-orders.
By running this offer, Microsoft is likely hoping to get gamers sitting on the sideline to order the Xbox 360 version of the game as opposed to the Playstation 3 version. We recently conducted a Facebook poll and the results were pretty even (maybe slightly in favor of the PS3…) so deals like this could make a difference for the guys from Redmond.
Either way, if you have a Xbox 360 and are going to be getting GTA 5, then this pre-order offer from Microsoft is likely to be as good as it gets!
While this might not tell us the exact release date of Grand Theft Auto V, it might go some ways to giving us a time frame to work with.
HK6, from this site, apparently went to Future Shop (a Canadian retailer) to grab his copy of Max Payne 3 and was given the receipt below. As you can see, HK6 is now entitled to a $20 credit towards GTA 5, should he decide to purchase it.
With me so far? Well, if you keep on reading you’ll see that the offer is valid only between 1 February 2013 and 31 May 2013 – meaning that there is a very good chance that GTA 5 won’t be released before Febraury next year, and that it will be released no later than the end of May… also next year.
We sincerely hope it is the former date at the latest, and in any event are secretly hoping this piece of news is somehow wrong. A Christmas without GTA 5 would be very disappointing indeed!
